Our 4th graders successfully made it through MCA week. I know it can be challenging to sit and focus for long periods of time, but they did great!
Last Friday the Spring Lake Park Lions Club donated trees to all Westwood students in honor of Arbor Day. This event went along with our discussions over the last week about Earth Day and ways we can protect the enviornment. I've include a picture of the the class below.
This week we are beginning our health units. Our first unit is all about nutrition and eating healthy. We will be discussing healthy food choices, the importance of exercise and planning a one-day healthy menu.
